Why a second, independent server
SEP-30 recovery is only as trustworthy as the separation between signers. If you run both recovery servers, you effectively hold the keys. We run the second signer on separate infrastructure, under a separate operator, so no single party can take over a user's account. That includes you, and it includes us.
